Post-Baccalaureate candidate for content area examination - Graduate of another institution (no content area coursework from A&M Commerce)
Post-bac students will be allowed to test in their content area one time without any pre-requisites if they have been admitted to the Alternative Certification program. A signed “Post baccalaureate Rule Agreement” form must be on file before a student receives permission to test. If the student is not successful in their initial attempt to pass the post-bac content test, their test performance will be evaluated and additional coursework may be required.
Retake – Tests (except unsuccessful post-baccalaureate attempts) may be taken as many times as necessary in order to obtain a passing score. Each time a test is retaken, the student is responsible for registering and making payment.
Testing - Students must pass their content area test before they will be approved to take another test.
Multiple tests – Students will not be allowed to take more than one test on one test date.
